If your going to do the crime be willing to do the time, I make sure I know all the rules and what happens if I get caught, like for me legally I cannot grow my own but I found if caught it can be a 600.00 fine and a very low crime offense, which I am willing to take a chance for, just know what your willing to do and what things are not worth taking a chance for, because we all underestimate our freedoms, and there is no price to pay in order to jeopardize that for me, just do edibles next time, here if smoking in the hotel rooms will get you kicked out and maybe a ticket, that would be a risk worth taking for me, maybe not for others, basically just get to know the laws within the state you are traveling is the best idea.

However, out of all the times I've done that when I was a teen, I've only been pulled over twice. And it was for stupid everyday shit.
First time was because I was turning left, light turned green, and while turning onto the street, I was making an immediate right onto the next street, so I turned into the right lane and then went into the turn lane… so stupid. The cop said I had to "get in the left on the street I turned into, turn on my right signal, get in the right, turn my signal on again and get in the right turn lane" eyeroll
Next time was I was going 40 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Dumb shit. But regardless you shouldn't drive stoned, and if you do, be careful
