  5. peter kung says:

From hong kong. President Assad is a hero to defend Syria from becoming another Libya or Iraq. Mean while the war in Syria is not a civil war, it is a invasion planned and executed by NATO and US.

  6. Debra O'Connor says:

You lie. That's not all that's heard. I believe the ones that went there before you. And Senator Black. I see them over snd over them call you liars. They are fighting ISIS. Prayers are with you Syria. Assad might not be perfect, but not what the left says. There need to be ctackdowns. They want to trbuild the Heritage site. They want to rebuild. Everything is not black and white. You might twist it at home, but not there. Some you talked to were terrorists. Not perfect. Not our war. Except for the ISIS that America helped create. You twist everything. ISIS did that damage on the border just as much., maybe just maybe, you idiots are wrong.

  7. Debra O'Connor says:

The other countries can pay to clean themselves up. Grr. All you are is one sided. The media lies so much, we don't believe a thing they say. What do your expect? Also taxing and hurting poor people won't help. Yes, humans cause it. America has done better at cleaning up. Why do we have ro pay for china. How about all of you stay out of our business? You eith thr money fix it. One sided. without tobacco, America would be much poorer. Who fid it? The big corporations. Quite punishing poor people..

  8. Breeze says:

Those who survised bussd out? those were fucking ISIS and Alnosr and other fucktards that fucking USA supports.
You sons of bitches destroyed Syria by creating ISIS and funding those mother fuckers.
you sons of bitches will PAY for what YOU HAVE DONE!

To give you all quick summary for the last 7 years about the Syrian situation. This is just my opinion and only represent myself. In the beginning of the Arab spring everyone wanted to change just like any human being ( unfortunately protesters didn't have a long term plans, they thought its going to be easy similar scenario to Tunsia, Egypt or maybe Lebya). Fast forward little bit, ppl saw the killing done by the regime which caused ppl to split and take sides. Sunnis and Alawit. Then regime got help from hezballah. Ppl split more, now sunnis against shia's and alawit. Sunnis couldnt agree on one guy so now you have sunnis divided into small groups of rebels. Small groups rebels fighting pretty much everyone around them. Alnasra came and isis!!!! Groups of rebels divided more and more meanwhile regime gaining land and power taking advantage of the rebels fighting eachothers. Also, regime been in power for ao long they k ow what to do, and one of their goals is to kill all terrorists( any syrian against Asad is considered terrorist in the government dictionary) anyhow, ppl started leaving the country from both sides, especially to Europe due to better life and for others cuz of $$$$ Europe government was giving to refugees. Fast forward little bit more ppl started coming back and lot of them went back to support the regime due to the consistent fighting between rebels themselves over power and area control . Unfortunately lot of innocent got lost between the two sides. I heard feom many syrians when i asked why Asad after all these years, their answer was ( the alternative is worst). In summary, the alternative just BAD. Results of that, ppl died, blood shed every where, country divided, ppl lost faith, lost trust, lost education, lost generations of young kids, the country looks like it need 50 years to rebuild taking in consideration war will stop now, and ppl dont revenge for their victims. At the end, i believe in the hereafter GOD will be asking ( isis, alnasra, Asad, hazbollah, Iran, shia forces, sunnies rebels) why did you kill those ppl. Until then i ask God to give us the vision, brain, heart, education and the abaility that us human being get together and fight against the evil who is trying to divide us.

  38. Kristopher Williams says:

    Vice you're ridiculous.

Let's imagine for a moment that Russia invaded, let's say Mexico. Mexico becomes factions of different fighting groups vying for power. China begins to fund some of these factions, supplying them with weapons, logistics, and some direction. Now these factions begin to swarm into the United States, attacking the outskirts of major cities and becoming deeply embedded within cities. There are upwards of 2 million of these guerrilla fighters, and the number grows as people from around the world are incentivized to join and take part in this "Civil War". Obviously, geopolitically, there are many states that want to see the 'US regime' toppled.

What does the 'US regime' do? Sit ideally by while their institutions of power become threatened by armed groups attempting to reconstruct the nature of them? Do you believe that the biggest military in the world, including the indiscriminate weapons they fight with would sit in hangers due to potential civilian casualties? The US military would destroy ever square inch of the cities, killing as many civilians necessary to regain control of necessary oil fields, and other important sectors. The US regime has displayed an incredibly reactionary and overly violent policy for the last 2 centuries, there would be no reason to think that human rights would play a role in regaining control.

The United States intervention in Iraq has killed over a million people, and disrupted the stability in that region of the world. Other states have funded the groups that band together, and there are thousands, upon thousands of fighters that have been imported and exported around since the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, when the CIA and gulf states began to fund fighters to dismantle the little control Russia had over the country.

Syria was home to the best healthcare of the Middle East which is universal to this day,
and they continue to provide free higher education with stipulations of course. The United States sanctions in 2003 weren't imposed for no reason. What's the best way to topple a government? Make the people suffer.

The United States have backed some of the most heinous and brutal dictators the modern world has seen. Look at Iran prior to 1979, Noriega, Pinochet, Saddam Hussein (the Iran-Iraq war was actually initiated by US foreign policy incentives), Suharto, Doe, Mubarak, the overthrow of the democratically elected Greek government post-WW2, and plenty of others. These governments were despicable with no inclinations to implement progressive policies. The Syrian government on the other hand, since switching to Dr Assad in 2000 has been under constant reconstruction to further implement progressive policies. Syria is not necessary a country with a plethora of resources, and their oil sector is a small part of their GDP. Exports and imports are crucial, and with the US sanctions, that irrevocably threw off the balance, and the government had refocus to continue their agenda.
