    It's not about just smoking weed. After a game, these guys are so sore they can't move for 2 days. The only remedy given opioids, while weed provides similar pain relieving benefits (based on what other players say) with less of a health risk. I can't blame him for not wanting to play and potentially getting addicted to pills.. either his life, his choice.
