Two fell out of the chopper, one got punched in the face so hard he needs a cybernetic implant to replace his eye, one broke all the bones in his body, and the pilot had his face shoved into the controls, giving him- long story short, he too needs another eye. That's $30,000 Papa Smurf owes me and the rest of Scorpion-7 in medical bills, and the Skycrane- SKYCRANES AREN'T CHEAP YOU KNOW.
Today, I'm still questioning your motives at that time.
But that isn't the important part. We're fading, Smurf. We've lost our grip on events in the world. Nations have descended into anarchy and violence, held behind a steely curtain of oppression and totalitarianism, or fallen completely. Only we can fix this with your help.
I'll say this right now, (my God, my CEO's probably going to go ballistic over this and ruin my chances of ever having a relationship with her, if you see this, Rosie, I'm sorry, I know you feel this way too) my organization apologizes for our previous actions. We were blinded by corporate greed and pushed forward recklessly, without realizing the consequences. We're partially responsible for the deaths of millions around the world, and we hope to change that.
We need you to find a group called the Syndicate. Or at least whatever's left of 'em. Help them. Get them back together, make them capable, whip them into shape, whatever. And tell them we're out there.
