I've done a Martha recipe many times. my feedback and highly suggested on her options… do NOT use red wine regardless of type. taste like utter crap.

and only use chuck steak. mix with beef broth 2 cups not one), cubed potato and 1/4 chunks of white onion with 2 cans of tomato pastes unlike her 1 can suggestion.

season with powdered thyme, salt n pepper and 1/8 pieces of a few cloves of garlic resting / baking beside the goods at 350 temp….. however low it to 250 if thin or do it in a slow cooker for best results.
    its delish!
    thanks Martha for the inspiration!

    I suggest five cloves
