A UK television channel Channel 4 done a show on driving on cannabis. All users were experienced in cannabis. It was a eye opener.
I don't think people should get super high and drive, but just a little pot doesn't effect driving much. It's equal to medications that are legal to drive on. A roadside test for impairment currently exists, and is employed frequently to determine if alcohol users, prescription and over the counter drug users, and cannabis users are too impaired to operate a motor vehicle. It would be an unnecessary civil rights violation to specifically target cannabis users with additional field tests.
