A Wrongful Murder Conviction and 18-Year Fight for Justice: The Fairbanks Four

Police quickly pinned the murder on four native teens from a local high school and convicted them on false confessions, an unreliable witness, and forged evidence. Love Vice but whyyyy are your Anchors sooooooo boring?!?!
Dude with the braids is hella cool. The Attorney: Gives me hope that there's still at least one person out there fighting for what matters. God bless him, please!
The opening quotation from that man…ripped my guts out. You're producing good content, Vice
the presenters beautiful
This shits sad bro and its so common and alot of people in these scenarios have no support and die in prison knowing they didnt do the crime
I get bored with people who whine about prisoners plight. BUT, BUT ,to be a prisoner and INNOCENT is a different story. I can't imagine how that feels. And sometimes the state KNOWS they're innocent. And I've seen released innocents, and they don't appear bitter,is something ,I tell ya.
Hope they get the compensation they deserve. They should never have to work the rest of their lives after suffering such an injustice! And wow her eyes are amazing!
Man it's crazy how much Alaska looks so much like Western Canada, not just in terms of the land, but the vehicles, and buildings as well. I guess it has to do with most of it being made only in like the last 200 or so years.
they cant sue that's some bull
Come for the story, stay for the racially divided comments
I'm so happy to see you guys making this known to your viewers
ok so who's at fault?
No justice for the four of them!!!!! Hope the worst for all the authorities and that judge who did not compensate them!!!!!!!!!
How the fuck is this even legal? Go out today or wait a year or two if you don't agree not to sue the state even though I KNOW you are innocent. How can such BS be legal wtf US?
Sarain Fox is a intelligent First Nation beauty.
Context pack ticket bcltpn while clear each revolution than desire agency domestic manner.
Adam hudson you are the most irritating ad of all.

Racist law system…
Living in Fairbanks right now, I just heard about this video the other day. I've never heard of this story before, and that makes it even sadder.
48 hours find this man, but still can't figure out who killed tupac. Tupac had more money y'all some snakes NWO
All too common these types of travesty in racist MurriKKKa.
The judges, prosecutors, and cops involved should get the death penalty.
Wtf? No automatic compensation for taking roughly a third of these men’s lives away from them for a crime they didn’t commit? What kind of Justice is that? I hope they win their lawsuit. I hope the people who put them away are brought to justice.
it's all too common for the police seeking to appease the public and hurry up and get a conviction. the west memphis 3 was another obvious example, or the "making a murderer" case. any minor detail can be blown up and slanted by the media, and along with the infamous "blue code of silence", this case is certainly horrible but not exactly surprising. small town police forces are typically enmeshed in nepotism and corruption— "we protect our own".
Never admit…
Very sad story! But on another note, that interviewer is fine!!!!
The so called "Judges" and "prosecutions" among the "Juries" should all be locked up for life considering how these so called judges and "lawyers" destroyed these innocent people's lives, any "judge" who falsely convicts someone should be given the same sentence as he/she passed, Sick of these idiots hiding behind a black robe , "your honor" my ass, "your black robe"
Good example of why to insist on seeing your attorney before saying anything to the police.
Damn RIP arlo. Those boys better get their compensation.
Courtesy is spelt wrong as "Coutesy" in such as 21:49 in = "Coutesy of Gray Television Group" for example.
I think they probably did do this and should be back behind bars.
If those were my kids Arlo and that prosecuter would be dead.
Reminiscent of the Central Park Four…
The cops fucken killed him they used the teens for the cover up that's the reason there was not another reasonable explanation
"forgive them for they know not what they do" Amen, wightees world is coming to an end they wont see it coming, the price must be paid
keep thinking this is a brockhampton video lmao
I will never understand people confessing to a crime like murder if they didn't murder the person.
well said story and maybe most attractive eyes ive ever seen
What a happy coincidence… The reporter is also illegal alien.
stop getting on everybodys nerves with making this a race thing …. its an interesting story but i dont think it has anything to do with racism. you brought that up …. how many white people have been falsely accused ? propably alot too or even more since there are more caucasians …. it just seems like you try to create drama with the race stuff to get clicks. lets all get along
The two chinese guys are innocent
All you ever have to say to police is, "I want a lawyer". The police will stop their bullshit immediately.
21:07 … sigh what a great soul this man has…
This made me cry. A grown man. Justice was served. God bless these men
ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE POLICE "DON'T READ YOU YOUR RIGHTS" LOL it will always be tossed out in court if they miss that "NOTE"
Damn vice she fine let me go out with her lol
