This is so primitive, I never thought that Korea was such a primitive country. Up to 5 years for using mariujana! For personal use usually there is no jail time in most progressive countries only for selling except in Holland where selling is legal and other countries who made selling mariujana legal.
In Spain they even help you with counceling, they came to the conclusion that people who use drugs should be helped, counseled and given support since they are not criminals. I guess Korea has a lot to learn about what is right and what is wrong regarding the effect it has on someone's life. I feel so sorry for this young man. He seems to need help and not jail. I am not a fan and I don't follow his kpop group, but still on a humane level what they are doing to him is very cruel. They don't pursue murderers the way the media in Korea is attacking him. There is really no proportion. And just because he is an idol. Again this is very primitive.

  12. Len Varias says:

media in Korea knows to ruined peoples life!
it was all a misunderstanding that turns out to be a big fuss!I thought he was over used of his medicine for depression and now his smoking marijuana??
    unbelievable!!
is being a huge celebrity means a lot of pressure and responsibilities??!!
    haters happy now?

  13. Fatenumberfor Winner says:

    that's rediculous!5yrs????are Koreans rules like this????wtf!

  14. Luigi dcx says:

5 years are you serious ? Even one month seems too much for me…

  15. Nikki Boling says:

Stupid people . Another reason Korea is backwards. Did he kill someone? Weed is no big deal.

  16. AIVIE COMINGUEZ says:

    he's not going in jail.
    no no no

  17. Tiffany Lewis says:

why can't they leave that grown man alone damn acting like he killed somebody. life gets hard maybe he needed to relieve some stress. get off that man's back

  18. Jill Chen says:

TOO Bad. But he is an adult, and should be responsible for his own doing.

  19. Mr. All-E says:

T.O.P should escape South Korea and Settle in America… i didn't knew South Korea is such horrible place.. and yet Whole media bashes North Korea, South Korea isn't any good either… it's painful to watch how paparazzi and Korean Law are treating him badly and ruining his personal space. Not only that after that much they are sending him to 5 years prison ruining his life…

  20. CLRaider says:

it's just weed. people need to calm down with that shit. jeff session and everybody else who thinks weed is bad. it makes no sense for alcohol to be legal and kill lots of people meanwhile weed haven't kill anyone YET.  and dying from the mixer of weed with other substance like pain killers or alcohol  doesn't count. I hope my man T.O.P. be okay. I got your back man. he seems like a nice guy who is trying to get through life like everyone else. life is hard enough. you need something to calm your nerves every once in awhile. weed shouldn't be a crime. the law treat stoners like they are rapist or something. just chill the fuck out.

  21. zaney says:

The girl who smuggled, sold and used drugs with him only got 4 years of probation. That's not even her first offense. And him only being a first offender and did not sell nor smuggled drugs may serve 5 years in prison? Wtf korea?

  22. sabaymak says:

I sure like Korea law on drugs

  23. Rorijie Vian says:

i think it would be unfair if he get 5 years in prison.the girl only got 4 yrs she deal and smoked marijuana while she is under investigation…

    #sorry fir my bad English

  24. Sierra Ross says:

I find it so frustrating that the number 1 barbaric country of the world North Korea can smoke weed everyday without penalty and its "progressive" twin South Korea, sentences you to jail from a positive hair strand test from weed you smoked months ago. if I was enlisting in the army, I would smoke too. all my love goes to TOP.

  25. S S says:

WHAT THE SHIT BRUH ITS JUST WEED HOLY HELL WHY WOULD YOU SEND SOMEONE TO JAIL FOR SMOKING WEED ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? WTF BRUH????????? TOP IS A FUCKING ANGEL HOLY SHIT WHO CARES IF HE SMOKES WEED WHAT THE HELL SOUTH KOREA?!?!?!? i mean im not one of those who says weed is a harmless miracle medicine but TBH id rather my family be potheads than alcoholics ya know????? plus someone who is so so fucking kind and harmless and has such a pure heart?! how the fuck ya gonna send him to jail for smoking some fucking weed?!?!?!? get your fucking priorities in order… i mean countries around the world aint perfect with their laws but this is insanity. this is trying to strike fear into your own citizens for the sake of convincing them to obey unconditiinally, on blind faith rather than good judgement. five years for something that doesnt harm another person… for self medication in a brutal fucking world… are you fucking kidding me?! smoking pot is a victimless crime unless youre smoking in a room full of fucking pets and children or something, goddamn what the fuck i cant fucking believe this shit im pissed as hell i barely know anything about these people but this is insane for ANYONE to have to deal with

  26. nyang says:

poor t.o.p. at least he admitted that he did it. the trainee could've kept her mouth shut instead of bringing him down with her. lol.

  27. B Soul says:

He should have just sex with her than do drugs. that feels alot better.

  28. Mai Linh says:

Watever he did, i don't care and i will always support him. Stay strong TOP, love you ♡

  29. nelly salazar says:

I smoke weed all the time .. helps with anxiety and has helped me overcome alot of difficult moments. Sadly the law is the law and i know the risk im taking when i smoke. ive been caught by police but theyre very lenient and take it from me and i get to go home with a warning. Top is an idol who deals with the stress of the press and the pressure to enlist must have gotten to him. Weed is only dangerous because its illegal and people make bank trying to sell it. Legalize it and people lose profit. People have here own reasons for not liking the drug and i get it but damn 5 yrs is a ridiculous sentence

  30. Juliet David says:

he must be imprisoned for violating drug law. he ended his own career.what will yg do to his contract now? will he suffer the same fate as seven? but his scandal is worst than that of seven.

  31. sabrina lizares-sabo says:

I fully support T.O.P in all that he does in the future. Hopefully this incident has taught him a valuable lesson. Be strong T.O.P and wishing you the best in life !!!
