I ended up working in warehousing and unloading trucks. Other than stand up, that job was the most fun I ever had.
I am now a stand up comedian. I do a couple hundred shows a year. And I enjoy the travel. I’ve done four hour-long stand-up specials: “Why Do I Do This”, “Let It Go”, “You People Are All The Same” and “I’m Sorry You Feel That Way.” I host a podcast each week called The Monday Morning Podcast. And I have an animated series on Netflix called: ‘F’ Is For Family.’ Occasionally I act in movies but only when they let me.

Bill with the torture comparisons. Normally you're brutally tortured yourself and become immune to it or you like being hurt yourself and it gets you off hurting others. It's not like you're thinking up what to do and you're like "I was always good at stringing up cats and jabbing them with knitting needles, maybe I'll try something like that".
Haven't seen the show yet, but I read the book. It was incredibly slow, however it was a pretty interesting take on the depths of misery, and if anything it was a great topical dystopian.

I had to read the book for highschool. There is no story, the women are just oppressed and the men are just dumb animals. There is no arc, no redemptive lesson, no logic. Only gross scenes of borderline rape (written by a feminist trying to show how women are treated by societies). There is no hero, te women are all powerless and the men don't seem to be able to recognize anything wrong with the dystopian freedomless future. There is a war going on which is never explained but is used to justify the dystopian nature of the society. ITs feminist trash in its purest form. The whole concept (see if this comes as a surprise) is that women will always be oppressed by men and men will never know its going on.
