That lawyer, Hawk?, is a god damn moron, and I would never want him to represent me. He came off like he "Better Call Saul," lol! Seriously though, I am really surprised Greg Abbott signed this into law seeing how anti-Marijuana, and hemp by extension, he is.

  2. Diamond Diaz says:

Sounds like a waste of money to test for THC when it’s going to eventually legalize. There are a lot more dangerous drugs and dangerous criminals out there.

Thank you for being a truthful voice for this plant.

All of these people at the expo are breaking Texas Hemp laws. No one was licensed to grow or sell hemp at the expo. Every gas station sells hemp flower with seeds. So anyone can buy seeds at a gas station and grow. Or that person can sue the store where they purchased the legal hemp flower and seeds. A hot hemp plant is marijuana, so same plant. No one got arrested at the expo, so Texas ain't enforcing the law.

  8. Joe Smartballs says:

THC potency test are man made bias opinions and not fact. So not evidence in court. Test have to be 100% accurate as evidence.

  9. THCBDude says:

"Marijuana but it's not" Marijuana is such a shit vague term.

Hemp IS MARIJUANA… It just has low amounts of thc, but it's ridiculous for a plant to have 5 labeled names…

    Marijuana, Hemp, cannabis, weed, ganja.

    Let's make it
    Cannabis
    And
    Diet- cannabis

The labs already have the tools to remove thc… I hope they don't waste the thc. I assume the ship it to legal states.

Anyways, anyone from Houston have any ideas? Anyone wanna make cbd reviews, and cannabis news discussion videos? I'd do it on my own, but I find review channels better when there's 2

  10. Japanese vape says:

    fuck this just decriminalize

  11. Peter McCann says:

Politicians: Please stop wasting resources on jailing people for cannabis use. From the disingenuous motives criminalizing the plant (deportment of Mexicans over labor jobs), to the fact that relative to alcohol, it is less harmful, destructive, and dangerous, law enforcement has more important issues to deal with. Dan Patrick: what are you thinking, when most REPUBLICANS, in Texas, want Marijuana reform, not more resources spent on weed. Doesn't sound like you are representing your constituents well, when you squash votes on bills the majority of republican voters support. Perhaps it's time you step aside for a representative who's more in line with the public will.

I don’t understand why it’s legal to walk around with a joint in Washington DC, and in Texas it’s still a crime to get caught using. It makes no sense to me. I’m tired of the antidepressants I’m prescribed. These pills aren’t therapeutic. These pills make me very moody!! I love Texas but I mean c’mon why are we not legalizing marijuana?

  13. Khalifa Kalito says:

Why is it against the law quicksell.co/s/store/weedhome/0yv It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit…unnatural? quicksell.co/s/store/weedhome/0yv

  14. ayouknowzyoutuba says:

Sounds like Hemp is for people that just want health properties and not get high. I love it. Especially people that love the aesthetics, smell of cannabis, but don't want to get in trouble for growing one for ornamental purposes.

  15. Janna Jones says:

honestly legalize it like ever other state and stop wasting money and put it to the more dangerous drugs why not legalize a natural plant that has so much benifits..

  16. Janna Jones says:

again a waste of money smh

  17. Dank Duck says:

When will they realize marijuana should be legal it doesn’t kill anyone and typically isn’t violent if anything it calms people and it’s way better than cocaine meth all that shit it kills people and makes them insane

  18. damarlboromans says:

This is just stupid waste of time & money mean while there is real crimes that need to be solved why is the goverment so stupid?

  19. Anonymuse * says:

here in Texas if you're not smoking pot you're probably using hemp CBD products of some kind. it just doesn't make sense for it to still be illegal here when poses no threat to public saftey. IT shouldn't be a question any more. Everyone serves to benefit from the legalization of weed. Most pot smoked in texas is obtained form other parts of the u.s, so were missing out on that tax revenue. not to mention the patients that would benefit from clinical trials and the small buisnesses, and investors that could line their pockets with the crop. hemp and weed is almost 13 times more profitable per square foot than most staple crops.

  20. Jason Lowther says:

Why waste time in something that’s not even lethal. Go after the hard drugs, not plants ffs

  21. Tim Sears says:

I say have both legal hemp and marijuana so people can decide what's best 4 them with alcahol already being legal u would think that shouldn't b a problem

  22. JamesCrowonline says:

This is BS, its holding a carrot in front of a mule to get him to move, unless we get full medical Marijuana for real pain we have nothing at all. As a republican I will vote full Democrat ticket until this happens, why, because Republicans are to stupid to do the right thing.

  23. Pianothekeys says:

Julie is not a very good journalist

  24. 10MM says:

    Legalize it already.

  25. Metalhead Maynard says:

just legalize it already. the jobs it will create dwarfs and negative impacts that could be

  26. oooozoooo1 says:

So as an update to this story as of June 2020. TX and DSHS are trying to move forward with prohibiting cbd flower or any smokeable form in retail sales. Looks like the loss of money that comes from incarceration was too much for the state. So in a recession/depression/pandemic…TX wants to shut down a new industry and taxable source for the state. New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana have voted to approve marijuana and TX can’t even “understand” cbd so they’ll shut it down.
