Canada needs to stop this sitting in the middle bullshit to ensure the safety of the people in this video and others. I am pro legalization of Marijuana but if you open up an illegal business without a license what the hell do you expect? Honestly I'm 100% on the cops side with this, as soon as you step outside of the law youre going to have to own up to the risks that you "chose" for yourself. If you want protection you have to start from the ground up which means fighting for legislation to legalize your product and then open up a legal business. You just can't do this backwards and then play the victim when you knew exactly what you were getting yourself into to begin with. This logic is juvenile.
The police should be focusing on REAL criminals especially when we are less than a year away from legalization. what a waste of resources.

What is the overall narrative of this video? If the dispensaries are illegal, the owners take it upon themselves to break the law. Because they are actively breaking the law, they are not entitled to protection under the law. I'm for legalizing marijuana, but I side with the police spokesperson. You can't actively break the law and then rely on law enforcement to only enforce certain aspects of the law.
Legalize and tax it and you're suddenly millions of tax dollars in the plus and you free up a lot of workload for the police.
Oh and the approval rating would be epic because people tend to underestimate how many people smoke weed.
The Toronto Dispensary owners are incredibly delusional. At first they just wanted to get their hand in the cash grab called legalization. They couldn't wait just a little bit longer and now they've tricked even themselves into believing that they're helping patients by dealing narcotics.

All of this till misses the big point. LAWS…. LAWS are enforced by govt. mainly for the sake of revenue. IF a "CRIME" against the law and is upheld by a jury of citizens then it will be overturned and the defense will gain nothing. If this happens enough the defense will not continue to pursue the crime because it is not worth the time and effort. That law will then cease to exist. US Tax payer dollars have to be spent at least somewhat wisely right?
