  1. Alan Meals says:

Canada needs to stop this sitting in the middle bullshit to ensure the safety of the people in this video and others. They've already committed to legalisation, instead of actually making progress since Trudeau's win….it feels like it's all on pause while it's debated and discussed. The least Canada could do is, decrimanalise for now. Until a legal market can be properly established.

  2. King John Un says:

I can tell this "NAME WITHHELD" guy has a fucking goatee, white skin, no hair on hands or neck. Not OBESE, nor SKINNY, but soft bodied. Wears a blue cap, TURNED BACK. Nice job "concealing" his identity lol.

  3. OfficialMINIm says:

I worry that these poor guys will be victimized even more now that this video is out and more people are aware of how they will not call cops for help in fear of losing their business.

I guess this is why they should wait until its legalized. Its also not fair that these guys don't pay tax. And who knows how much money they make off those beautiful buds

  4. SpiritsBB says:

Vice dug deep to find the ills of the Canadian police and this is what they came up with!!!

  5. That RTSguy says:

I'm not sure if they don't understand the difference between whats morally right and whats legally right. they could just do what a drug dealer would do and hire some security lol

  6. Daniel Pappan says:

Why is an 11 yr old boy covering this story?

  7. Simple Filemaker says:

My last vice video. Good luck vice with u r future videos.

  8. GutiSteve says:

I am pro legalization of Marijuana but if you open up an illegal business without a license what the hell do you expect? Honestly I'm 100% on the cops side with this, as soon as you step outside of the law youre going to have to own up to the risks that you "chose" for yourself. If you want protection you have to start from the ground up which means fighting for legislation to legalize your product and then open up a legal business. You just can't do this backwards and then play the victim when you knew exactly what you were getting yourself into to begin with. This logic is juvenile.

  9. Cballin says:

The police should be focusing on REAL criminals especially when we are less than a year away from legalization. what a waste of resources.

  10. Simon Delaney says:

If i owned a shop i pack some dual golden AK-47's with a rubber grip 24/7

  11. endt1mes says:

Give it up Vice, Marajuana will never be legalised. Plz make more docos on North Korea etc.

  12. Butimar Seabird says:

no license, no complaints, thats all

  13. Colour and Tone says:

What is the overall narrative of this video? If the dispensaries are illegal, the owners take it upon themselves to break the law. Because they are actively breaking the law, they are not entitled to protection under the law. I'm for legalizing marijuana, but I side with the police spokesperson. You can't actively break the law and then rely on law enforcement to only enforce certain aspects of the law.

  14. TheAGCteam says:

Legalize and tax it and you're suddenly millions of tax dollars in the plus and you free up a lot of workload for the police.

Oh and the approval rating would be epic because people tend to underestimate how many people smoke weed.

  15. gg says:

The Toronto Dispensary owners are incredibly delusional. At first they just wanted to get their hand in the cash grab called legalization. They couldn't wait just a little bit longer and now they've tricked even themselves into believing that they're helping patients by dealing narcotics.

  16. gg says:

"There is a real and very serious need, and I'm satisfying that need to my members." says the dispensary owner. Completely psychotic.

  17. trillijuanaplays says:

the spokesman for the toronto police is missing the point of the interview and doesn't even answer the questions. sounds like trumps white house staff… smh.

  18. Duckfood says:

but if the police are claiming that it's their duty to raid the businesses when investigating robberies, why are patrol officers walking past these businesses and turning a blind every day? it's a double standard, and completely illogical.

  19. Youtube User says:

This video shouldnt even exist. If you deal with semi illegal shit that is worth a lot of money things like this have to be expected.

  20. Irvin Guerrero says:

IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT THE COPS ARE DRESSING UP AS ROBBERS AND ROBBING ONLY CERTAIN JOBS. Cops always force you always from peaceful solutions.

  21. Jon A Baptist says:

A problem that could be fixed in one day by the control freak governments giving freedom to grow to ALL citizens. Their greed to bleed money out of yet another sector of society is the real evil that allows these events to occur.

  25. markaf1 says:

i wonder if any of the robberys were done by bad cops

  26. Angel Iv says:

Damn , alot of these comments are by people who are biased because of what their fucking "government" drilled into their damn heads . its just people ruling over people. there is always a choice . right and wrong are not synonymous with the "law". people need to take shit into thier own hands . but fuck man its like people dont realize that cannabis has had a great impact on people's lives and they want to contribute to it and help others but it cost money to be legal. alot of money. i have my medical card here in California. i go to "illegal" dispensaries to get my shit. i still have to have rec to get it. and the legal stores are nice but are often twice as expensive for the same shit. there is so much to it all it can be commented on in one video. i just wish people would think outside thier boxes more. fuck dude George Washington smoked and a huge rebel. he was like fuck the government which was the British at the time. (i know the video takes place in Canada but still)

  27. 1mlmsystem says:

This is why Dispensaries need to use Cryptocurrency – Potcoin, Dopecoin, CannabisCoin, HempCoin etc… you can't steal that.

  28. ATOMIC SHARK says:

A lot of those places get weed from US gangs and sell it to anybody they want and those same gangs sometimes go and Rob the place they just sold weed to

  29. Z3rostar says:

??? Why are you opening stores that sell illegal products? Why isn't your mere existence itself a crime that would warrant an investigation?

Do you Canadians not pay taxes or get licenses to operate a business?

  30. Sentinel Returns says:

    awww… poor millionaires…

  31. Mark Ellis says:

Whats happened to the real, fun and exciting documentaries? Vice gone down hill

  32. Frank Molley Jr says:

In general, Toronto isnt a trend setter, cover the issue nationally rather than one City, thanx

  33. raman sharma says:

She would make a great lesbian!!

  34. ElroyJetson says:

All of this till misses the big point. LAWS…. LAWS are enforced by govt. mainly for the sake of revenue. IF a "CRIME" against the law and is upheld by a jury of citizens then it will be overturned and the defense will gain nothing. If this happens enough the defense will not continue to pursue the crime because it is not worth the time and effort. That law will then cease to exist. US Tax payer dollars have to be spent at least somewhat wisely right?

  35. robert steele says:

it would be a shame if the cops and robbers suffered from lead poising.

  36. studio226 new media and design says:

not helpful mindset from the police

  37. 419chris419 says:

Another video about 420 DANK WEED?
Why am I even subscribed to vice?

For those that want interesting documentaries about INTRESTING PEOPLE head on over to "Great Big Story".
    You guys won't be disspointed.

  38. cruhg says:

ive been telling people forever that even though the government is still profiting off the taxes, the establishment and the financial elite do not want cannabis legal, here is proof. also thanks vice because now youre painting a target on every canadian dispensary by showing they cant go to the cops for help

  39. Random Fibers says:

The doctor says I need a backiotomy

  40. lehrjet10 says:

Why would you report the police are going to show up long after the robbery is long over you need to build your dispensary with bulletproof glass and security like the precious metal dealer

  41. tjykuy, vuyr76 says:

Gotta love how the police never answer the question asked…
If they stop raiding them do they think more people would call the police when robbed? "It's illegal blahblah"

  42. Grasmsuson says:

You did a report on Canadian gun control laws and how we should institute laws like theirs. But ever fucking robbery you just showed, the perpetrator was carrying a FIREARM.

  43. Nadroks Nadroks says:

Thats what u get for selling weed for this street prices

  44. HACKA33 says:

  45. jason Chaves says:

this is y I didn't open up one in the states cause of this reason the cops are the ones robbing them 99.9

  46. Joe says:

I'm sorry but why are weed and dispensaries illegal? Isn't that the moral question we should be asking?

  47. and str says:

"…and i cover weed for vice" hahahahahhaa

  48. VICE says:
