$20 for a shirt? Sheesh. I know it's for charity but damn.
Is the shirt seriously just the reddit logo on a stage?
Say What…….What?……
I really wish you were going to be in MN sooner then the end of next year. You are amazing and never fail to make me laugh.
Someone wanted weed, the other wanted a tshirt. What’s next, can I have your YouTube channel?
Meh.
Dont smoke weed! I once smoked wee and I started speaking in a foreign language I didnt know for 2 days, I also saw a cow with the head and body of a pig
20 bucks is aight
Steve… are you coming out?
Okay, this is going to get way to serious for a comment under a comedic video. But, I firstly support the idea of the fund for struggeling comedians (I hope I write all this right or at least understandable as my english isnt that good). I am not a comedian but a student (social work) and I know how hard it can be. In fact half a year ago it was the decision: Either stop studying although the Bachelorthesis is the only thing missing or be homeless and with less than no money and a lot of debts. With the help of friends in a different country who said: "Come, we don't have much ourselfes but it will be ok" I was able to survive – also physically – and to succesfully finish studying because of them. But still it was hard. Very, very hard. I had nothing more than one bag of things. Including books to study. And then start trying to get a job with clothes that are 10 years old – in good shape but worn out, patched over and over again and with one pair of even worse shoes. I can only imagine what struggle it can be to have to be funny for a living in a similar situation. And although I still can't efford to help with money I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I support the idea of it. And as someone who lost both their parents early I can also feel how much it must mean to do this in the name of your father. Mine was a carpenter (I hope thats the right word) and I still cherish the wooden stuff he made from his hands much I couldn't bring myself to sell them – I guess they wouldn'T have made that much money, but they were handmade and as mentioned I have had litteraly nothing. I just couldn't.
That said I want to thank you and maybe you could give my thanks to Andrew Rivers, too. Your videos helped me over and over in those times and still do. Sometimes you need dark humor to survive dark times. And so I think of it like this: By helping comedians in their hard times you also help other people. Those people they will make laugh and think and f.e. as me with this video: Grateful for what I do have even though I do not have much material things. I have friends. Friends that really were there when I needed them. Even their cat was there for me and followed me around the house every step of the way on a very dark day and the fact that he wouldn't leave and – if I closed the door on him – wouldn't be quiet until I came out of the room again – stopped me from doing something very silly and irrevocable that day. And I am not even a damn cats person.
Like I wrote at the beginning, this was much to serious for this video and maybe even youtube. But you just reminded me how grateful I am that I am still alive and that you and your humour had a part in that too. So again: Thank you.
Steve, I know you said you don’t like talking to people. But would you consider doing a meet up or live Q&A with people? If you like
Way to be boise baha. Im from southern Idaho so this was entertaining to me ha! I really enjoy your stuff Steve keep em comin!
Steve will you have different sets at you Indianapolis shows? I’ve bought tickets for both shows just wanted to set if it was going to be different material for each night.
We need it goddamn legalized already, stupid government is run by old people who only listen to the word of god
Steve your a good dude making that grant to help aid a upcoming comedian with rent, car payments, or anything else that will help them people like you are becoming Dying Breed I appreciate what you do brother
I don’t have any money, but I really like the shirts. Can I get 2?
I'm curious as to the 'heckler prevalence' in other countries. Are some of the cultures more (or less) accepting of that type behavior, so it is encountered more (or less).
where is the youtube award for?
Out
one of the reason Washington > Idaho 🙂
Is the shirt really nifty?
I wear my reddit shirt all the time, can't wait til you're back in MN again man!
Wait, but hold up, who's buying your stuff in the middle of the show, don't you do that afterwards?
Man, if I were you, I wouldn't have felt bad at all.
I am EL COMMENTATOR, and I want EL PRIZE
what you couldn't pad this video out for another 2mins?
He was standing holding up his shirt.
Dude that's so cool of you. I'm applying in 2 years. I support you
Steve, by any chance were you at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California this last weekend? I swear I saw some guy that looked just like you.
They both sounded High hahaha
Lol that was great
I just recently subscribed to your channel. I work 12 hour night shift as a security and your witty come back only make me wish i could practice more. But ive dealt with drunken disorderly people and i wanted to thank you. I saw on your calendar youd be in Melbourne on 11-29 id love to come see your show. Thanks for the tips ypuve given in your uploaded videos. I think your doing great. #Redophile
At least he didn't want your pants this time….
For the record, those shirts are well worth the price — so damn comfy.
Not buying tickets until you release a time and venue for Adelaide already!
I almost couldn't find this video. Why does it have your name instead of referring to comedian in the 3rd person? It's terrible for searching. 😉
Steve, thanks for coming to Boise, we had a great time at your show. This clip is the early show on Saturday that we were at. Bought all of your and and Andrew's stuff including a couple of t-shirts after the show, everyone loves them and now I know the website I can get a couple more. Keep cool man, and we'll see you next time.
She is so dome.
funnnnny.
I was at this show!
A little backstory to the guy asking for the shirt. Me and my wife came an hour early to get seats for the show and this (drunk homeless guy) came in and was asking about how he wanted and drink and the ticket taker told him there was a comedy show happening and that he could have a drink on the patio or he could buy a ticket. SOMEHOW he sneaked passed the curtain and sat in the very back of the place. He apparently got a free show from what I could gather.
Just so you know Steve, yes that guy was already (drunk, high, or whatever) before.
Great show and sorry for the stupid people, especially the one girl who asked the question about “do you you prefer someone with a annoying laugh or silence?”
Then let out a weird, very loud laugh and the whole room just was like….WTF was that.
Anyways hope to see you come again to Boise
If i got to ask a question at the end of one of Steve's shows it would be, have you ran into any other Tim's?
i would like 6 albums so i can stop laughing at myself in the mirror for acouple hours
