I love love love me some herb Alpert! I go all the way back to the days of the Lonely Bull and right up until today and by the way route 101 is a great great Happy song!

Herb is a legend in music on all fronts. He is the "A" in A&M Records if you remember that label. Of course, my fave track of his…Rise. But also his vocal effort, yes he did sing, "This Guy's in love with you." And thank you Jimmy for the title of that classic piece of instrumental gold Route 101.

Always fantastic !! Humble, Down to earth, Class act guy (met him a couple of times at MSU & in Chicago) … He is by far the most Underrated Jazz/Pop musician (not a bad artist either) … Also, when in LA I always try to make to VIBRATO, his quaint Jazz dinner club … Great food, Great music !!!!
