    Wayne was killing mixtapes 2004

    Kanye is Steph

  3. Stephan Terry says:

    Jay z = Jordan (Obvious)

    Nas = Duncan
    5 rings, fundamental, not a pretty pic but skill is second to none, low key king, people say they're boring but they got the quality to make you respect them.

    Kanye = Kobe
    Closes to jordan, little brother to jordan, long legacy, transended the game, Obsessive, influence.

    Drake = LeBron (Obvious)

    J Cole = Kawhi (Humble, Low Key, Chip off the same block as nas/duncan, sits out but still dominant, win unconventionally)

    Big Sean = Kyrie
    A flare and flavorful style; Big Sean's punchlines and word play = Khiry handles, obvious talent but doesn't have the leadership quality to be the leader of the team, Wants the legacy of the greats but doesn't have the it factor, student of Kobe/Kanye, Thinks he's deeper thinker than he really is.

    Wale = KD
    EMOTIONAL, wale is the only rapper you think would have a burner account un-ironically, talented but always feel over looked)

    Lil Wayne = ?
    You could say AI because he had the greatest run once he got going, his impact on the game is still felt though he may not get recognized for it by new generations, The later part of their career is disappointing, but I feel AI only had a dominant 00-04 dominant reign and he never got a ring.
    OR
    DWade because though Lebron/Drake was obviously going to win a ring eventually he didn't get it without Wade/Wayne and he has a ring of his own. But i don't feel like Dawade ever had a dominat presence in the NBA as wayne had to hip hop.

    Snoop = Shaq
    Huge personality that transend's their main profession, never found success like their prime years but still a big presence long after, Always has a star little man to collaborate with (ex. Snoop had Dr. dre and Pharrell. Shaq had Kobe and Dwade), reign gets overlooked when we think about dominance, Endorsement deals and they brand themselves the same way. Fun and funny personality.

  29. M 360 says:

    Kanye is Magic for sure. He all hella rings. Magic is a triple double player; points, assists, rebounds and they can both play multiple positions on the court and on an album or song. Kanye is a triple double artist; writing/co-writing, producing (beat making, executive producing and arrangement), recording/performing), he contributes towards every part of the process of his songs and albums. You can start a team with Magic and he’ll offer multiple things to the team and if you start a label with Kanye, he can offer multiple things to the label. Outside of maybe Outkast, Kanye arguable has the best discography in hip hop and one of the greatest discographies in music across any genre. You can’t deny this run; College Dropout (2004), Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), 808 and heartbreaks (2008), MBDTF (2010), WTT (2011), Yeezus (2013), TLOP (2016), Ye and Kids See Ghosts (2018) and on top of that he’s one of the greatest producers in hip hop, where he’s not just produced for others but produced on his own albums, like Magic he can play multiple positions. He has classic features also and most of the classic features he’s had, he’s also produced the track for the other artist I.e Ti- Swagga like us, Game- Wouldn’t get far, Jeezy – Put on, Jay Z – Run this town, Rick Ross- live fast die young etc. Plus he influenced a whole generation of artists that came after him like Drake, Cudi, Big Sean, Travis, Wale, ASAP, Young Thug, Tyler the creator, Uzi, Juice Wrld etc. and changed the sound/landscape of music several occasions with College Dropout, Graduation, 808s and MBDTF. In terms of creativity; his has the best catalogue of music videos along Busta and Missy in hip hop. He’s the only male artist to receive the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. His tours changed the game in terms of stage design and overall production; Glow in the dark tour (2007-2008), WTT tour (2012), Yeezus tour (2013-2014), Saint Pablo tour (2016-17). He’s one of the best live performers in hip hop; and has classic live performances like the 2010 Runaway performance at the MTV VMA awards etc. 50 is more like Shaq because they both dominated the game over a 3 year period; Shaq (99-2002) and 50 (2003-2005), both took the bully approach, Shaq on the court and 50 on tracks, dissing various artists and having different beefs and both were unstoppable at their peak.

  30. M 360 says:

    Jay is on Mount Rushmore obviously but when Jordan was winning his rings, no one else was eating from 91-98 except for Hakeem in 94 and 95 when Jordan retired and Charles Barkey and Malone winning MVP’s over him in 93 and 97 respectively. A lot of people ate good in Jay’s era or his run in general; before, during and after his retirement. You could argue his Prime run was around 96-2003 and then it was extended after his retirement with Kingdom Come (2006), American Gangster (2007), Blueprint 3 (2009), WTT (2011), Holy Grail (2013) and 4:44 (2017), outside of WTT and 4:44, last decade (2010s decade), Jay wasn’t really a very huge factor as an artist (lyrically he’ll be elite till he dies, that is getting better with time), but I’m talking about him as an artist. Let me continue. Other people ate in Jay Z’s run; Pac, Biggie 94-96, Mase 97, DMX was arguably bigger than him during 98 and 99 and had more impact and influence then you have Em and Nelly who outsold him from 2000-2002 and we’re bigger than Jay, Ja Rule was eating good during 2001-2002, then you have 50 who dominated from 03-05 (50 was a big reason Jay retired briefly and he even warned other roca-fella artists to drop quickly before 50 takes over the game or they’re going to have to wait for the 50 wave to die down which is what ultimately happened, and this was confirmed during his 2013 Breakfast Club interview) then Wayne and Kanye was dominating from 06-09, then you have the 2010s decade that was mainly dominated by Drake, Kendrick, Kanye and Cole; Drake mainly for the chart success/numbers, Kendrick for the most classic albums, Kanye for the albums and influence and Cole for the consistent fundamental bars and albums and then you gotta include Future,Thug and Migos for the influential sound that they brought to the game respectively during that decade. Jay wasn’t really a huge factor last decade as an artist. Jay has great longevity, however I don’t think number 1 albums should be the only criteria when determining whether Jay was number 1 of his era or during his run because that criteria obviously only favours Jay since his has the most number one albums. Because this discussion isn’t just about lyricism, objectively, it needs to also take into account discography, influence/impact and numbers/stats, not just number 1 albums. Jay being Jordan is arguable based on longevity and legacy but not based on dominance imo. I can’t think of a year in hip hop where Jay Z dominated the year,

    Kendrick Lamar is Steph Curry. We so used to them doing amazing shit that it doesn't even surprise us anymore

  34. Derrick Deckard says:

    Kanye would be Steph Curry cause he changed the game and won and was thought of as the new face of hip hop

  35. NateDontHatee says:

    So nas is – magic ?

  36. Ted Dibiase says:

    Bro yal need to so yal research on Kobe, he was 13th pick because gaurds weren't coming out of high school only 7 ft dudes bt Kobe was a superstar in high school and the lakers were a playoff team so he sat behind an all star

  37. Colton W says:

    That shit makes no sense. The MJ Kobe comparison would make sense with Biggie and Jay z because Jay took a lot of Biggies style much like Kobe taking Jordans moves. I dont think either Biggie or Jay is the greatest MCs no way. No such thing anyway people just have tendency to overrated rappers they like. Like Nas said on Ether "Aint no best".

  38. JoshJonesJr1 says:

    if jay is Jordan Kayne is Pippen.

  44. Logo Secret Vvs says:

    …I seen Wayne becoming who he became..how couldn’t you when looking at the videos and seeing Wayne..it was him & turk that me and my friends was messing wit…but I been a visionaire”
