Lil Wayne has always been a polarizing rapper. I like Dedication 6 Reloaded a lot and I hope it wins mixtape of the year on BET Hip Hop Awards, happy D6 Reloaded is nominated and not the first overrated Dedication 6 which wasnt nominated in the BET Awards but somehow Wayne made a a drastically upgrade of the mixtape but yet got no attention at all, D6 Reloaded may get more attention if it wins the award. Never understood why Wayne doesnt get the attention he deserves, it seems like Wayne fell off the map mainstream wise so I have a bad feeling Carter 5 will flop badly. People hate mumble rap & a lot of people blame Wayne for dat but he influenced lyricist like Kendrick who used his rap style previously & is arguably the most recognizable rapper now & is considered the best rapper of this new generation. Just hope Carter 5 gets the recognition no matter the quality of the work, I actually dont want C5 to be dated & I actually want Wayne to talk about his label issues on C5 & how he overcame it. I want Wayne's voice to sound like D6 Reloaded wit the content of Free Weezy Album & the creativity of Carter 3. I kinda lost faith in fans or fake fans really liking C5 if it comes out based on the reaction of Family Feud & how people hyped up Drake's bars & completely dismissed Wayne's bars. DJ Akademiks & Joe Budden even seem oblivious to wat Wayne was saying & dats the shit Im talking bout. I feel like C5 can be fire but most of the lines may go over other people's heads, Wayne has always used double entendre wit his lines but I dont know wat da reaction of C5 will be, I have high expectations but Im not sure bout everyone else.
