I'll tell what we could all do: die or survive. With the risen demand of the product, the goverment only sees profit. There isn't a thing a sensible person can do that can stop this madness. Prepare for the end is the best we could do.
How about we control the population of the world instead of trying to find ways to sustain that population with technology that we don't have? The real issue at hand is overpopulation, and how modern medicine has ruined the natural order of humanity. It sounds orwellian, but for the sake of this planet a new plague is necessary.
