God probably used this motherboard for his Creation

I take issue with "Gaming Motherboard" it seems to diminish those of us building workstations. Your own website make it clear that this board is not aimed at gamers, and it is abundantly clear that the WX processors are not intended for gaming. Consistency is important in your advertising, especially when you expect customers to pay $500. Perhaps I am more particular than most, but when I'm spending my money I'm allowed to be particular. All that said- I have already bought one of these, I'm warming up to the wild aesthetics (though I'd still prefer a no frills offering) and I think it will be an excellent board that will serve me well for years.

This is a total shit motherboard with useless 16 phase VRM, designed from a copy paste Intel design, and NOT FOR AMD WX CPUS…..Dear MSI, Your idiot engineers have no idea that AMD CPUS do NOT have a voltage controller, and YOU DO NOT PROVIDE crucial voltage offset in Your BIOS for PBO AMD CPU boosting….and that is for mild performance enhancement, at the cost of insane amount of power draw, and voltages that will deprecate and destroy the cpu within a couple of Months if One like US content creators keep it at load on daily basis…
You need to understand that Content creations loads such as rendering and simulations and VFX, is more intensive than prime 95, because we keep at load the CPU completely using the whole cache available, and all the PCIE slots are fully populated with GPUS, also running at full load……
Now this motherboard doesnt even have PCIE slots… and You wasted a slot, because You are too damn stupid to NOT make hole in the PCB with a sticker on it saying remove motherboard stand off HERE.
You wanna make a creation motherboard You better put Your act together and dont offend people Intelligence who spend tens of thousands of dollars on computer hardware, with your misleading crappy death trap products.

Next time You wanna make a WX motherboard, drop in at least 24 phases until threadripper wont have 64 core where you will need way more than those.

Make a fucking offset voltage, in Your BIOS, so that the VRM work at peak efficiency and NOT at below 20 % of the curve.

And for god sake make 7 or 8 full 16 PCIE slots…it doesnt take You much to make a EEB single socket motherboard, all You need to do is go look at Intel Gigabyte Motherboard which is properly designed for High density CPUs that are meant to run at full load 24/7.

Your MEG piece of crap literally, made it outside My window, after less than 60 minutes it was turned on, and this lil 1800 CPu is in a drawer now along with all the ram sticks.
I dont have time to waste, because of a CPU meltdown because of a poor MB design and even worse BIOS who doesnt understand how the product its supposed to RUN is working and does to have to waste hours of work because of a CPU failing on me because of voltage.
AMD CPUS are NOT intel they work differently AMD doesnt have voltage regulators and they will never have any.
Get some hardware and software engineers that knwo their job instead of these idiots u paying a salary, because there is more competent people even on a stupid gaming forum than the guys you have making Your Boards.

OH yes…next time You make a motherboard for a WS Server class CPU, please dont take Goldrake or Mazinga as inspiration for the aesthetics, because not even a stupid teenager would like that crap…next time You make a motherboard You might wanna take a look at space odyssey movie which is way light years ahead of You when it is about aesthetics and purposeful design, you might wanna shield Your motherboard so that they are completely dust and condensation proof, because that is how a 12000 or more dollar computer should be!!

@MSI GAMING What mean is MEG? MSI Extreme Gaming? or … Can you tell us about that?

  7. bitbatbutttiktaktuk says:

What size m.2 drive does the board allow physical size not memory capacity lol

  8. LokiDaFerret says:

Huh… Does the first pci-e slot fit the ultra fat 3-slot graphic cards without intruding on the next PCIe slot? For example the ASUS GTX 1070 ti stix.
