Hi I realized Iv wired my 100k pot round different to what others have mw driver white- to centre pin and black+ to outside pin where as everyone else has done + to middle do I need to change round and is this doing any damage? still functioning no problem Anyone please help ?

Hey Growmau5, It seems you have covered everything except for hanging of lights. Can you make a basic quick video about hanging custom lights, and what type of wiring to attach to the lights/ where to get it, and maybe recommended distance from Canopy for these leds? Also would love to see more on Quantum Boards, their ppfd, and specifically how close we can grow them to the canopy… for closet or tent growers. Thanks man! Keep up the good work!

Growmau5 are the monochromatic diodes maybe say the cree xte as good as quantum boards? I want to use cobs and I thought diodes maybe say the xte would be a good choice since the quantum boards are unavailable. Also do you think you could talk about light engines?
What's up gromau5, I'm a tried and true mh and hps guy but I'm loving cob technology. I just assembled my rapid led kit and it was a totally gateway for me into the led world. For my next project I want to run 5 or 6 cxb 3590 cobs on individual heat sinks and have them occupy the spaces in between my hps lamps which are currently spaced out 4 feet, bull to bulb. My question is : can the wires connecting cobs to each other be more than 5 feet long? I only want to use 1 driver for this setup.

what do you think of spectrum King LED? i know in the past you've made it perfectly clear where you stand with commercially sold units being "good" but something you build yourself can be "better". I've watched your videos on building and fabricating your amazing grow lights,and i feel as though the skill set is beyond me for the time being. So for now im going to stick to the consumer side of LED lighting for my garden. And with all the Brands to choose from it really comes down to an apples to apples comparison. I feel your lvl of professionalism and attention to detail would offer an unbiased opinion to the aforementioned brand. I hope you can entertain the idea of testing these lights as most of the videos i find on them are either from the company its self or people being sponsored,and an opinion from them should be taken with a grain of salt.
i have a ?. i have a 4×4' grow tray on a 3×3 table, and the table legs are cut in half to make shorter but i am ove vegged and i need to take the table and tray out and put the tray on the floor… what is the best way to do this with distrupting photo period as the lamps cannot be movedfrom the grow tent… do i do it really fast or what i need some advice first time hydro grower any one reply if they have an idea plz im all ears.

I am new to your channel, but I think I will be sticking around for a while! I have looked at about 7-8 hours of your videos in the last two days and have started to look at chilLed and a few other places that you have mentioned.
I have a 4×4 area for flower and I do not have C02 to add to my room. I have high ceilings as well if that matters. I would like to find one of the cheaper routes if not the cheapest route I can find right now if anyone could point me in the right direction. Just as far as a general cob and driver combo I should buy. I can take care of the housing I think myself, it may not be water proof or pretty, but I would just like to get started in this DIY world and make myself my light, but the budget is beyond tight to say the least.
