Thank you for the concise information in 1 simple place. I always find the varying perspectives on Neem Oil interesting. Not everyone agrees that if used in Veg it is "safe" by the time flowering/ harvest comes around. What's even more intriguing is that it is difficult to find absolute data on it's use (at least for me). It's effective and organic no doubt about that though albeit polarizing. Keep up the good work!

  2. SoulSeeker 311 says:

You need to give a warning with the use of neem oil it cannot be used with 3 months of harvest. It takes this long for it to evaporate and work its way back out the palnt so your not smoking toxic chemicals…. neem oil is ok for eating not combusting. Science is showing it causes CHS (cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome)

  3. Jaz & Keli says:

I like using the bio control from Mammoth P for veg then in flower or as needed Dr. Zymes

When u use ur neem oil add just a drop or two of dish soap as an emulsifier… tips from a chef.

  8. atomictraveller says:

POTASSIUM SILICATE – silica toughens plants so insects can't pierce them. yeppers. it is also a surfactant you can use with neem oil. tbh i rarely get this to work and use another surfactant, but i've seen it work (temp.. order.. dunno..) but without azamax/azatrol and gnatrol, this somewhat messy concoction has proven its efficacy for years.
fungus gnats come through sewer lines. if you see them around the sinks, don't start your seeds there.

  9. Mpowers says:

I got aphids and thrips from clones I got from a friend, I did what I could then harvested and cleaned out the room. How long until it’s safe to replant? I’ve been vacuuming and wiping down everything repeatedly.

  10. Wuellfredo says:

What about the topic of is it a root aphid , springtale, or predatory mites( soil mites)

  11. Sister Mary Clements says:

I give my plants a nice rinse under the shower. Then i take an empty lid from a jar and fill with honey. I place this lid with honey at the base of my plant. I also pour honey on the base of the stem.
The bugs will get stuck to the honey 🙂
    Bugs are such a PITA

  17. NorthernCaliWay says:

Nematodes, organic insecticides, predator mites, diatomaceous earth, fly strips. Grow from seed only not clones.

  18. greg says:

I have seedlings that are in the same tent as my flowering plants they are about 4weeks old and my plants are on the last few days of flushing. My 4 week old seedlings have started to flower will it stunt the growth of the seedlings when it get put back on the 18-6 light schedule

So if your Aluminum Ducting is running to your window using a Window Seal Plates Kit, could you get pest from outside that way? would the screen for the window prevent that?

  20. Dave Metzger says:

What about H2O2, doesn't that kill the larvae in the soil?

  21. FUNNIE Boy says:

Diomatious earth available at Home Depot it will eliminate every pest issue anything else is not acceptable and never ever let anyone inside your room spray yourself w 91% alcohol and shower if you’ve been outside

  22. Dad Ho Tep. says:

TweetMint Plant Wash is an enzyme based product that is awesome with no harsh chemicals,
I dip all of my clones in a light dilution of 1 – 2 oz. (2 – 4 tbsp) of TweetMint Plant Wash per gallon of water before rooting. I also use the same dilution for keeping my plants clean and on anything that comes into my grow space. This will take care of any spider mites, russet mites, aphids and fungus/molds etc. Nothing on the market compares. It is super concentrated and affordable. You can get it through Safe Solutions website, BuildASoil, Grow Green, Grow Generation and Amazon etc. Love your video’s and the content. They are very educational. You guys are awesome, keep them coming!

  23. Steve Benson says:

You need to make a video on leaf deficiency and nutrient burn signs, and other things the leaves tell us about heat and environment

  29. Kay Fiedler says:

    Excellent

  30. Anthony M says:

I can barely hear the audio in this video☹️

  31. Matheu Williams says:

Its always “indoor” growing with these videos. Whereas in outdoor gardens , these pests are even worse because where else do these pests come from.

  32. Julian Kirby says:

Ok, so proper oil spray procedures to maximize effectiveness. 80 degree Fahrenheit water, an emulsifier, and a surfactant. For example you mix dynagro silica protekt with your water. Then your neem oil, then either some regular Palmolive green dish soap, or yucca extract.

  33. Julian Kirby says:

For fungus gnats. Set Small glasses(gift type mason jars, like 2 inches tall) of apple cider vinegar w/ a couple drops of non scented soap in it to break the surface tension on your soil. The gnats will be attracted to them, and drowned. Place them under the sticky traps that the video creator recommended to increase the effectiveness of both traps. And predatory soil mites formerly known as hypoapsis miles will make the soil a less hospitable place for them to live.

  34. Kingmarz says:

Don’t use neem oil it’s toxic! Use Listerine.

  35. MrTwige says:

    just spray bleach on it!…lol

  36. Hersh says:

For IPM use Bio Innovations Venerate and Regalia!!!

  37. Hersh says:

SNS 203, and 209 work very well for IPM as well

  38. Dirkei says:

Work on that audio my man. Sounds like a Blue Yeti, or something with a lot of bass. Your voice doesn't come through that clear and you sound muffled

  39. ZomPaul says:

Bad advise…. Neem oil is NOT good. it impregnates the plant tissue permanently.. While neem is considered less toxic it is still toxic for most people to consume or breathe in never the less smoke.
. Dont use NEEM for you medication
.Dont use Gonats if youre sensitive to cedar, if youre unsure be very very careful as cedar can cause many issues including seizures and other longterm health problems.
    .

  40. TrueBagel says:

For fungus gnats i cutout a circle of paper, made an opening for the step and used a dropper to apply neam oil solution that soaks into the paper.
I dont like having the neam direcly touching the soil so this blocks the area and sufficates em with noxious neam.

  41. Quincy Pinola says:

What if I have an unidentifiable bug

  42. Lauren Ashley says:

I have been curious whether there's any truth to neem oil poisoning becoming a risk when you're a heavy smoker. My first thoughts are that users who are having problems probably just aren't diluting it enough when treating their ladies, but I haven't tried using neem oil to rid my plants of these stubborn spider mites since so many sources seem to think it's unsafe.

  43. SNoWfLaKe_Da_BoSS says:

Spider mites are invents so they have to have 6 legs and only 6 legs FYI

  44. Green Outlaw says:

I got to be honest I don't believe that method would be very helpful at eradicating mites or aphids permanently

  45. Andriy Korobov says:

what about days for red aphids, have an indoor herb garden, the fuckers must have been on the cilantro i bought cause that's just loaded and they stared spreading to other plants and its been 3 days since i had a good look at them. in a week i assume all my plants would have been infected
