People were focused on stopping mj prohibition so they didn't notice that Canada is still an archaic parliamentary democracy. How is it desirable that whenever a party has a majority they can do whatever the hell they want? And what about the fact that the PM can banish any party member from the party for life if they don't agree with him? In other words they can just fire them. Can a US President fire a Congressman from his party? Wouldn't Trump have fired Romney long ago? So in short, Canadians have a whole lot of work to do on their political system, The US tried to improve over the British system, Canadians just accepted it because they just couldn't think up anything better. They liked the wealthy being their dictators, or "Lords", if you will. How often do you hear anybody on any news network saying hey wait a minute, our political system totally sucks. Why the hell do we tolerate it? Who foisted this pile of crud on us? What's a republic? If only we knew.

Also, about the dispensaries being shut down, it's perfectly legal to GIVE weed to adults. It's just that you can't profiteer without a license, that's all. So why isn't Neil advocating free weed storefronts? Just get some donors, be like politicians. Start Canada's first weed non profit charity. Or are you really just in it for money? Why is there not one free weed dispensary? Pretty obvious when you think about it. It was always about the money. The stuff about helping the ill or whatever was just a pretext.

1:26:00 i understand the struggle of welfare as an injured person who assisted by the system. its definetly not fun especially as i've slowly lost my live savings paying my medicine ect while trying to find a job able to support my bills for home health food ect. yet the baby drama i got now too. like i undertsnd that weight all too well. its frustrating as labour jobs increases my medical cost ect so the harder i fight to do more the more its costs. as much math skills i got doesnt change the economic opportunity here
