i really dont know its true news or not but to be honest if she have to go to jail for four years then why not top. law should be equal to each and every one whether he, she is king or beggar. i m not his hater but i find it quite unfair of law.
What do most Korean men do about their current job when they enter the military? Is their position held open for them for when they return? Obviously someone would have to take over for them during their absence, but what happens when their service is completed? What if they were the only breadwinner in the family; do they receive an equivalent salary while they're serving to take care of wives & children? Are they able to see their family regularly during that time? I know this is a lot of questions but I'm very interested! Thank you to anyone who can help!

Well now that's over and done with and they both learned their lesson. The next step I hope is that Korea needs to work and revise their marijuana laws. At least work towards medical use like how the US is working on. I for one will never smoke it, but if I must take it because of a serious medical condition then I will. For medical use, you can take away the THC component that gets you high and leave only the CBD component that's medically beneficial. I think it's important to remove this super strict stigma on marijuana. This kind of slip up with TOP and possibly other Korean celebrities who may have made the same mistake…this could ruin careers and their life because the Korean populace will demonize them for it. I'm surprised drinking alcohol publicly (outside an establishment which serves alcohol) is legal in Korea, and yet too much can alter your state of mind and possibly kill you. Same goes for prescription drugs which caused TOP's grave hospitalization …but for marijuana, you can't even overdose, and it's possibly to take out the components that make the user high. So all in all, if you can work towards a law limiting marijuana use, and use it more medically instead of recreationally, then the harsh stigma can go away or die down, and the lives of the people in Korea can be a whole lot better and happier. =]

you are all so happy that the girl is serving a punishment but not t.o.p, when they both broke the law (which I dont believe marijuana should be illigeal) t.o.p is a grown ass adult and knew the consequences if caught therefore he should receive same punishment as the girl. the fact that they shouldn't do anything to him because he is an idol is complete bullshit. you would like idols to be treated like everyone else because they are humans as well as us but want to spare them and baby them to the point where they make stupid decisions and expect to get away for it because they are idols.
