Great video, Cali Green. In my city I use tap water to grow, but I give it a good 48 hours for the chlorine to dissipate. Also, I know the fluoride is injected into our city water at a rate of 0.65 ppm. I'm not worried about the fluoride, as long as the chlorine is gone.
it's important to read your municipal water report — if your water has chlorine you can off-gas it over 24+ hours, but lots of places are now using chloramine which will not evaporate out, the only way to remove chloramine (and/or chlorine) is by filtering or by dissolving potassium metabisulfite into it. One campden tablet is enough to dechlorinate 20 gallons of tap water.

Floramine and Chlorine in city water not good for your plants.
if you can make a total organic soil, it will feed your plants naturally, then you wont need any synthetic liquids. your soil is the key. cook your soil and meals ( kelp, blood,alfalfa, etc) first, or you burn/ or kill your plants. Organic grown is the best taste,smell, quality hands down. Takes more work, but pays off in the long run. PEACE OUT
