I would have liked to see the Cali Crusher Homegrown on there. It's another that's quarter-turn, never have to clean, lifetime warranty, etc. Their 2.0 model is chinese made and not very good, but I like the Homegrown. Oh, also the Ripper!

I dont know if my comment will be relevent, and sorry for the english. Since Storz and bickel say about the aliminium dust, i think some grinder would have some issues to due to the friction and make aluminium particules… Would be a good thing if you can make a video and a test it 🙂 Happy vape, you are a my star of vaporizer review

  3. Bricky Yardy says:

Lift grinder is the only grinder where you can put your stuff in it and start grinding only to open it like Troy did and see that the grinding hasnt even started. I was was really disapointed after spending what I did on it…

  4. BEEFY DADDY says:

You should do a best herb grinder on Amazon $20 and under. Cool video btw.

  5. BEEFY DADDY says:

I always found back and forth is much more effective than full rotations when grinding herb.

  6. Aether Gaming says:

Really wish you tested a Sharpstone V2. I bought one for about 30$ online (they sell for 80$+ at local smoke shops) my favorite thing about it is the removable grind plate and super fine screen (which does come with a few issues not going to lie) I decided to torture test it one day and stuck an entire eigth stems and all and it had no issues. Just my 2 cents, great video btw looking forward to the next one.

Hey Troy what happy to the rest of your videos?

  10. oaschbeidl says:

Have you heard of the Gleichdick grinder? Not sure if it's sold in the US (Austrian company), but it's supposed to be a very high end grinder. If you ever get to try one, I'd be interested how it compares to the BSG or SCS.

  11. PureRageRS says:

Troy! Whered all your videos go????

  12. Stevie Lopez says:

Been through a lot of grinder videos and yours pretty much summed up everything I wondered about from different grinders…would love to see the raw life modular grinder and the qubus in the near future!

  18. Johnny Nicholls says:

I have never in over 20 years of smoking used a grinder like that. Back and forth is the only way.

  19. Curtis Womack says:

Never turn your grinder upside down and bang it on the table. Great way to lose keefe and fuck up your grinder threads. And don’t do what this doofus did and hold the grinder sideways. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t meant to be operated tilted or sideways.

  20. Inpherno AKA Patrick says:

I still vote for the Brilliant Cut Grinder, I have 10 others have had many that I just gave away cuz I did not like the grind, Hope all is good , Vape On Bro..

  30. Ivan Garcia says:

I've been wanting to move off of my 20 dollar amazon grinder for a while now but now I'm stuck on which to get. I can see the enthusiasm when you talk about the Brilliant Cut and Santa Cruz and seems to be the top 2 in the comments. However, almost 2 years ago I saw the Secret Weapon II and thought that was my dream grinder. If you have any experience with that I'd gladly take your word for it. My preference is more of a medium rather than the fine grind my current grinder does and primarily smoke out of a pipe and joints.

  31. MadLemon says:

Smoking some bud rn and shopping for a vape. 5:55 = uncontrollable laughter
I appreciate thou how much thought went into this. Microscope and sheets with area/price.
In terms of content your videos are really fucking high quality. You need a better cam/lights setup and you will skyrocket 😉

  32. Victor Vek says:

You said the Fury Edge is “one of” your favorite portables around $150. Would you be kind enough to tell us (me) your top 3? I trust your opinion.

  33. X Phtogrphy says:

I always turn my grinder upside down and go back and forth. Best way to get consistent and fine cuts.

  34. AnOldString says:

It would be cool if you redid this using some imaging software like ImageJ to quantify the weed grind size distribution in order to have more objective grinding comparisons.

  35. Joker Toker says:

These grinder prices are ridiculous. I feel like they are taking advantage of us.

  36. WhiteSoxsideMike says:

Santa Cruz Shredder turns buds into green moon sand.

  37. Chris Dat Saints Run NFC! says:

Santa Cruz Shredder makes THE BEST grinders. Seriously the thing is a monster!

  38. Creag Mac710 says:

The black titanium space case is excellent. It never scratches or burst open when dropped, it is excellent for consistency, you can store a fair amount of weed in the air tight container, it has a very fine screen for high quality kief. I think your findings show that it performs well. All I can say is that the fake Chinese version must be incredibly good.

  39. nwa jack says:

What size SCS do you like best?

  40. Willisthehy says:

    My sharpstone is aight

  41. Advocatus Diaboli says:

Gotta load a bit less bud (around 45:00 you can see one the table that there's almost twice as much bud that your ground in the lift compared to the other grinders) and do more back and forth with mixture of full turns here and there with the lift and you'll have a much smoother and faster grinding experience. For me the obvious difference using the lift grinder compared to any other teeth style grinder is the ease of turning. When you've got bud smashed in between of dozens of teeth with lots of surface area for friction turning the grinder can get quite difficult. The lift doesn't seem to have this problem as with a blade set up there is much less surface area for friction and there is also room for the product to move around in the cutting chamber as it is chopped up. I really like that Lift manufactures here in North America (so does brilliant) using recycled materials and even recycles 80% of their wastewater. They also use non anodized stainless steel parts in the cutting chamber which reduces the risk on chips or flakes of contaminants getting into your material. Not to mention badass organic fda approved commercial hard coat anodization they use which is way stronger than most other grinders and conveniently rather non stick. You really can't beat a lifetime warranty either. I could go on and on about the steps this company takes to go above and beyond the competition but I already sound like I'm advertising so I'll digress.

  42. dean m says:

I've had the lift for a while, it's the best one. The way to get it to grind fast is the put the blades under the metal and place the buds. If you place the buds on top of the blades it just sits on top and doesn't shred. Try doing it like that and it'll be your favorite grinder hands down.

  43. Trewdex says:

    They’re grinders not spinners lol.

  44. Norf17 says:

I like Your hat, i want same on my own, where can i look for it ? Great comparison, veryy helpful, thx:) (sorry my English is yes i dont xD)
