I like to jar mine before the stems snap. If you overdry there's no bringing back the flavor.

Curious about why you put the buds in the freezer ?
Drying until the stem snaps is too long. I can almost guarantee it. Go ahead and check it yourself with a hygrometer. Anytime I let mine get to the point of having stems snap my meters would read around 40-50%. The cure zone is 60-65%. Its better to jar a little wet than be too dry. Just make sure to burp the jars and rotate the buds.

I cure for 3-6 months, I will smoke a little off of it between that time. I always back stock weed to have something to smoke. I have even cured some buds 3 years. Was delicious and still got me lit! Enjoy the new stash!
