Wild Plant Identification with Susun Weed
Susun goes on a weed walk in a vacant lot and shows us St Joans wort (hypericum perforatum), purple loose strife, cronewort aka mugwort (artemisia vulgaris), sumac, queen annes lace and more. She talks about some uses of these weeds.

a 3rd eye opening tincture? oh do tell us more! lols.
I love when you name the plants around you 🙂
I have a random question, I have moonflowers and angel trumpets that are blooming and I'd love to make a tincture out of them before I move where it'll be too cold for them. I usually make a weak tea with either a flower or leaf for spiritual use. Do you know if it's better to dry them out first or is it ok to make it raw? I've never made a tincture before. I LOVE your videos by the way, you're an inspiring woman!
Thank you, Susan! I always enjoys you're pleasant, informative videos
Excellent…I always love your videos…It amazes me how one can do an entire plant walk without taking a step…Thank you…
Japanese knotweed for Lyme? I tried to eradicate it from my old property (and failed!). Wow! Great to know.
thanks for the great videos! could you recommend your favorite books on identifying the many medicinal plants in our region? im new to foraging and all the books i come across have like only 30 of the more "popular" plants, im basically looking for a dictionary of plants with detailed pictures and descriptions.
